About Me
I am an Associate Professor at the School of Economics of the University of Nottingham. My research is in the area of economics of innovation, empirical industrial organization, multinational firms and international economics. My focus is on the determinants and consequences of innovation. At the moment, I have two main research agendas: one studies the relationship between firm innovation and the labour market, the other is on the causes and effects of technology transfers for firm productivity and innovation.
Within the first research area, I am interested in the effects of the new technologies on the labour market and on their consequences on firm productivity and growth. Within the second research area, my recent interest is on the way public knowledge can benefit society through education and their transfer of scientific knowledge to private firms. I also study the role of multinationals on research and innovation.
